OK, I leave for a week and all hell breaks loose. Now I'm not sure who likes Johnny Cash and/or his voice and OZ is swinging ways I don't want to hear about. I miss you all the same. Working out by yourself is CRAPPY!!!! Can't wait to see ya'll next week.
Adam and I did an awesome workout with Neil this morning...a slight version should be coming to everyone in a week ;-)
We did Kettlebells, treadmill, and spin bike...basically once one person couldn't do another KB we switched places...did this for 30 minutes and it felt great!
We missed our weigh in last Saturday bc Neil couldn't make it...that made this last week really hard. Adam still lost a few pounds but I actually gained 3...I was expecting Neil to yell at me and tell me to stop being a slacker but was pleasantly surprised. I knew it was a bad week but truly measuring myself is good because now I know that I have to get after it this week.
I am not making an excuse but simply explaining why it is so difficult to do this alone...Adam has been finishing the basement and being on the burst just wasn't enough calories to keep him going. So he started eating more and more calories at night bc he wasn't taking breaks during the day to eat lunch. So that meant after I got home from work and sitting on my A$$ all day I saw him eating things that I really really wanted...some nights I was better than others but in the end I still need to overcome my craving for "fat" food and be able to resist the temptation. I also have friends and family saying I look fine and weight is just a number it is about how you feel...these are things that make it even more difficult to have the willpower. All this said is why I am up 3 pounds and why I am going to demonstrate willpower and starve to death this week but being nothing tastes as good as thin feels!
17:40? 50? Under 18 anyway. Got hung up on the DU's, but got all 100. Probably aversion therapy from the welt I gave myself this week (18" long 1/4 wide on my back), and all the other times I have inflicted pain upon pain in the pursuit of a better Double Under.
21:51 (with a baby bottle break) Thanks for letting me come run or should I say walk up to the B with everyone. Wow that was rough but rewarding. About 1/2 way up 9th north I thought what the heck am I thinking! I may have finished last but I did it, right?
Emily, would you seriously get back here already and restore some order to all this chaos!!! All you need to know (and acknowledge) is Johnny Cash has a sucky voice. Period.
As far as Oz and his swinging...I think that is something that can't be helped anymore. It is what it is.
Missed you all over the last several days. Nice to be back.
Juliann, Seriously, you really need to listen to the man in black some more and you'll grow to love him!
Lindsay, my secret weapon at night for wanting to eat something is to peel and cutup and orange into bite size pieces and sprinkle cinnamon on it. It satisfies the sweet tooth with almost no calories. Keep up the good work and remember, weight really is just a number - I'm all about fitting into my clothes well!
Neil, what can I say - I know some people for you...
Didn't do the workout but made it to the B and back. 21 something up and about 12 down. Felt great coming down the 9th north knowing I was almost there and it wasn't so steep that I was worried about falling on my face. Thanks Liz for the training and the motivation. Go Team O. Zone.
Neil, what are you going to do about your permanent FZN tat you got last month?
Posted by: Troy H. | 02/19/2010 at 08:29 PM
Neil can keep that FZN tat also. His boyfriend likes it.

Chris...We've talked about this. You are NOT my boyfriend. I simply don't swing that way.
I KNOW how you are and how you feel about me...and I'm sorry, but "NO" means "NO," man.

BTW I'm pretty sure the restraining order applies to comments on this site, too. Just sayin...
