Citizenship in the Nation
(compare to Nov 19)
Citizens of the FitZone Nation are to organize into teams of 5. Teams will continually perform reps of exercises (below) in unison until each individual member has sprinted/run to East wall of the parking lot (approx 100 meters) and back. This will be done while the other members of the team are pounding out reps. Upon returning to from the sprint/run the runner will continue with reps of the exercises while the next runner(s) goes. The exercises are as follow:
high sumos 25# f/35# KB/DB
push ups
jumping pullups
situps
burpees
- Each team is to keep track of total reps and time of finish.
-The winning team is determined by calculating the total time in seconds it took to complete the workout minus the total reps.
- The team with the lowest over-all score - WINS.
No team finishes alone.

"High sock" Wednesday is mandatory for a good finish on this workout!

For all those who wore "high socks" today here is a funny story....after I left the gym I had to make a stop on the way home. I was walking through the store and a girl stopped and asked me if I went to Fit Zone Nation. I said I do and she looked at my socks and said "I could tell because wednesday is high sock day...." High socks are the best!
20:18 795 Thanks for pushing us Chris!!

Dave, we all know who the weak link is but I do appreciate you trying to take that crown from me!
I was so releaved when Andy got back each round I forgot it was my turn to run again :)!

That was fun, thanks team!
Chad, at least you don't have a fat lip from smashing yourself in the face with a KB on the high sumos!

I mean, seriously. How are the rest of us expected to be competitive with the forces of EVIL?

I love this workout! Isn't it awesome to work together as a team and encourge everyone! Our team may not have had the lowest numbers but we sure could rock it!
Nikki get well soon. I will sit and do workout with you:)
Tree I almost went to store and realized my attire was a little out there! Look at what you have started! I love it!
Kenzie keep going I can hear your six pack growing:)The O.Zone wont let you down if you do your time:) I was a wimpy duckling when I started. Neil and Troy can attest to that one:) Seriously the bar scared me. And when I saw people raise it above their head with weights! AHH!

Brian, Adam, and Ryan and the others at 5am were at 797 I think...they beat us.
Strong work everyone!!!

Wow - I thought Team Dawg was fast. Perhaps we have the fastest team from each class meet for a friendly to the (near) death, Citizenship in the Nation match.
Posted by: RussL. | 02/10/2010 at 06:32 PM
awesome workout! team = matt d, tara w, brent j, jill j, alan (welcome back), marcus w. time was 17:30 and total score was 655. I cannot remember total reps for each exercise, or total reps.

Hey Kindra I am sure we can come up with a better name than Captian Paul's team. The way my son walked in today we could call ourselves the Grim Reapers.
This is a great work out. It is great to see everyone work as a team. Russ as far as the "near death" match that would be exciting to watch. I would have split allegencies as I attend 6:30 and 5:45 depending on the day. Well done Citizens.
