Best thing about this workout - and there are certainly a lot of good things - was knowing that it would be impossible for Jim and Brian to lap me again. (a la yesterday).

trained w/Neil - lunges, heavy pulls/squats, bench dips, leg lifts, bicep curls (20-18-16-14), thanks, neil!

Legs are defiately tired today. I wonder if I'll be able to walk tomorrow.
Russ, if anybody lapped you, it certainly wasn't me. I think Jim was finishing about the time I was rounding the corner by the sign.

Almost got the Rx today. The lunges distroyed me. I'm walking like a new born camel. 75 lunges to go. (making camel noises)

Wow. My legs are toast already! and, I only did 102 walking lunges. I could hardly walk to my car. The grocery store was even worse!!

I love the newborn camel walk
To the great and almighty OZ- Maybe "We will get you in the backdoor" should be added to phrases we don't say with "Wow, what a beautiful snatch"..just saying
Love ya all! Thanks Juliann!

Pretty sure I just added 30 + seconds off my goal pace for the race this weekend with that workout. Damn you Juliann! Really though, great workout. First time we have targeted calves since I have been here, and lunges have never hurt so good. Rx + 3 miles after (to keep my legs from going into rigor mortis).

Yesterday, I predicted to Joanna that we were either in for lunges or triceps today. Ouch! I sure hope I can stand for that tricep workout tomorrow. Loved the online demo.

That was a great workout. I'm still shaking, but I did Rx it!

My legs are super shakey. I'm dreading tomorrow's pain!

P.S. Juliann, can you run some Advil over? I sat at the computer all morning and I seem to be frozen in the seated position. Thanks.

I am new to the group...going on week two. Needless to say, I am really sore! I have loved the 6:30 group and everyone who has been so kind, helpful, and encouraging. I did everything today but only got 110 lunges. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Rx This better get me buns of steel!
Very fun!!!!
2 hours on the bike with tabata at the end.

This better get me those "swimsuit legs" I heard Lemon promising the 7:15 class!
Posted by: Troy H. | 03/04/2010 at 01:12 PM
"Amen" to those swimsuit legs. I want the workouts for the promise of swimsuit arms, back and tummy please. Funny enough, my lower back is screaming a lot more than my hams from this workout. Thanks Juliann. Oh and the demos are great!

I want the swimsuit legs and the (lack of) tummy. The buns of blubber are hopeless; all we can do is minimize them. So far the legs are not protesting too much (I'm sure that comes later) but every time I go up and down the stairs at work the knees threaten to give out. If I'm not there on Friday (unless of course it's burpee du jour) somebody come pick me up off the stairs!

I hope you guys know I was kidding!! Cause if you think I was serious that comment sounds pretty GAY. Not that there's anything wrong with it...

During the process I didn't think the RX was to bad. So I begun to think we were still friends after this workout Juliann until I drove to provo and back. I'm really starting to feel the tension in our friendship right about now. I have a feeling tomorrow the relationship will be even more strained than I can imagine the rate I am going... If my legs look half a grand as Juliann's by summer you will never hear a complaint out of me about this workout.

Troy, we just figured that's where the chocolate doughnut went yesterday!
Posted by: Judy B | 03/04/2010 at 02:53 PM
Rx. Oh. My. GOSH. Legs are shaking...still. You're all going to be my friends after this one(Ashlan, especially you!)...right????
By the way, the ballet/dance moves provided by the MEN of the 6:30 class are etched in my memory forever. Troy, you pretty much amazed me today with your stunningly graceful arm movements. Wow.
Any day that Jim does NOT lap me is a very, very good day.
Advil is on ME tomorrow! You guys rocked this today! Can't wait to come up with another Shredder...stay tuned...

Juliann I think I hold the world record for how fast to change a diaper. I had Bronson on the bed and just bending over to change it my legs were shaking so bad. I couldn't change that thing fast enough...

Nice leg workout!! I'm glad I did not get my picture taken doing the ballet moves.
