Up-Downs

(Compare to Dec 1)

Two rounds of each:

5 min "Up-Downs" Run in place - do 1 burpee on the whistle - cont. running.
5 min "Down-Ups" Continuous situps - do 1 tuck jump on the whistle - cont. situps

Instructor will blow whistle no less than 4x per min.
Post total up/downs and down/ups to comments.  
You may consider wearing extra butt padding.  I'm just sayin.

I think that if you're over 40 your only involvement with up-downs should be blowing the whistle...
It was a fun workout though, even if I didn't get to blow the whistle. 6:46 mile.

This workout is way harder than I thought...
I missed 2 burpees and 4 jumps next time I will RX it!!

Brian, if you're over 40 and still running a 6:46 mile, quit complaining! You should get every move.....

Trained with Neil today. We seem to miss this workout! I don't mind! 8:?? minute mile. Pretty good for me. Keri, thanks for pushing me and thanks for slowing down a bit so I can keep up! I hate that mile. (Maybe that is the whole point of it-right? A mile is not that big of a deal.) (To some people!)

One of my favorite workouts.. 13:00 on the run, thigh-highs became ankle socks by the end of the workout..
